Elizabeth started violin in fourth grade after being inspired by a concert of fifth graders. “I want to do THAT.” She played all the way through high school, picked up the flute for marching band and then singing in college. Years later, that same musical inspiration hit her during a family pilgrimage to Disneyland where she saw “Billy Hill and the Hillbillies”. There were fiddles. As a child, fiddle was taboo. She said, “I want to do THAT.” The musical slumber was over.

The planets magically aligned and with a tour through National University for her music teaching credential, she jumped from physical therapist to violin teacher for Redding School District where she taught for seven years.
