Erin Stuart - Superintendent/Principal
Erin Stuart taught high school English and drama for the Shasta Union High School District 27 years prior to becoming Superintendent/Principal at U-Prep; she and rest of the Leadership Team conceived, developed and opened University Preparatory School.
Mrs. Stuart holds a bachelor's degree in English, Speech and Drama Education (University of Maryland) an English credential (CSU, Chico) and an administrative credential (Simpson University). For several years she was the principal and a teacher for the College Connection program at Shasta College where she also taught Interpersonal Communications as an adjunct professor.
Mrs. Stuart's son Max is in college now and her husband Mike retired from his job as superintendent of SUHSD, so she is finding a little more time for her favorite pastimes: reading, gardening, biking, yoga, and (of course) attending U-Prep events. She hopes someday to publish a mystery whose setting is a school in Northern California.
